Hi, as all the people are saying this place “World Connect” is really a scam. I don’t know what makes me google the adress, because I have enter the adress in our GPS, and it said unknown. I really think that people like that must be stop dead in their tracks. Petrol to travel to Midrand is costing a lot and for people to do things like that is very bad. Please Willem take these people to the NCR Direct Marketing Association. That will save a lot of people well urned money.

i also received the same call on the 25/03/2011.they say i have been selectect to a draw for car competition which i do not remember, i was asked to come @13h00 saterday 26/03/2011 with my wife.this is a scam as i do not remember entering a competition

Hi guys,these bliksems almost caught us, a little voice told me to google them. I would have wasted a Saturday afternoon. I am not going to leave this here, I am contacting the Direct Marketing Association and National Credit Regulator. I am gatvol of these people that insult my intelligence and play on peoples emotions. I just wish that they phone after the 1st of April because then the new consumer act will be in full swing and we will be able to nail companies such as this one.

Thank you everyone!!!! Received the same call on Friday March 18, 2011. I played along, otherwise they will never stop phoning me, received the same confirmation call this morning March 22, 2011. They will wait forever and a day to for my husband and I, because I will never waste my time and money to get there. We are very aware of scams like these. I was also a victim of these fraudsters called THE WORLD CONNECT – i have never felt so demoralised or abused and I strongly feel that something must be done to stop this company.

I have also just sent a mail to John Robbie of 702 – hopefully he will be able to expose them on air.

hi guys just got a call from these guys aswell saying im in a draw for a car n if i dont win the car i walk away with someting, the lady listed the things that i could win also asked her how is it that the draw is at different times with so many ppl in the draw she said that they will see exactly wat time they will make it depending on every1else. they emailed me confirmation. and also said some other person will call me to confirm. wat a whole load of shit…
